Buy Bitcoin with Revolut in UK for your Chilton Labs order
Quick beginner-friendly guide: buy BTC on Revolut first, then place your order and send payment to the address shown.
What you'll need
- A verified Revolut account with a funding method (card or bank transfer).
- Enough Bitcoin purchased in advance to cover your order total.
- We recommend buying a little extra (£2–£5 more) to cover Revolut’s crypto sending fees and Bitcoin network fees.

Step 2 — Buy Bitcoin on Revolut
- Open Revolut and go to Crypto → Buy.
- Search for Bitcoin (BTC) and enter the amount you need for your upcoming order.
- Important: purchase slightly more (a few £ extra) than the order total in BTC to cover Revolut’s send fees and Bitcoin network fees.
- Choose your funding source (card or bank) and confirm the purchase. Review the fee summary before confirming.
Step 3 — Place your order on our website
When you complete checkout and choose Bitcoin as the payment method, you will be shown:
- Amount in BTC
- Destination Bitcoin address (text) shown under the QR code
- A time limit to complete payment — Try and send your BTC before this expires but don't worry if you can't. Just give us a heads-up via email.
Tip: Keep the payment page open on your phone or desktop while you use Revolut.
Step 4 — Send the exact amount & address from Revolut
Important: copy the exact BTC amount and the full destination address from our website’s payment page. Match them exactly in Revolut.
- On the payment page copy the BTC amount (for example:
0.00123456 BTC
) and the Bitcoin address (a long string starting withbc1
). - Open Revolut, go to Crypto and select Bitcoin (BTC) in your balance.
- Tap Send. When prompted for the destination address, paste the BTC address you copied. Double-check it matches exactly (first 6 and last 6 characters).
- Enter the exact BTC amount shown on our website. Do not round — use the same decimal value.
If Revolut asks for GBP amount, convert using the BTC price shown, but copying the BTC amount is safest.
- If Revolut asks who the Bitcoin address belongs to, use the following details:
- Wallet: Electrum
- First Name: Jeri
- Last Name: Smith
- Confirm network/fees if shown, complete any 2FA or biometric confirmation, and send.
- After sending, wait for the payment page to confirm receipt. It may take anywhere from 2 to 30 minutes depending on network speed.
How to send crypto (video)
Quick troubleshooting
- If the payment page still shows unpaid after you sent the transaction: check the transaction ID (TXID) in Revolut and confirm the address/amount matched.
- If the page expired, create a new order and repeat the send process.
- Always confirm the first 6 and last 6 characters of the address before sending.
Security & important notes
- Crypto transactions are irreversible — only send to the address shown after your order.
- Fees & speeds: Bitcoin network fees can vary; if fees are low it may take longer for confirmations.
